This is a great professional reportage lens. I like it because of its versatility, reliability and predictable results. I saw reviews here complaining about "unsharpness" - guys, there are no unsharp lenses in Canon's professional line. After the purchase, any autofocus glass must be dragged to the official service for alignment along with the "carcass"! The stabilizer is excellent, it fully compensates for the "darkish" f/4 aperture. I recommend it to everyone - for full frame and crop - as a staff member for every day!
