Review on 🔧 Gates 38193 DriveAlign: The Ultimate Automatic Belt Drive Tensioner by Donald Phillips

My old offer and tensioner broke and didn't respond well. So instead of buying OEM parts I decided to try the gates to see how they work. The only difference was the strength and flexibility of the spring, which was immediately apparent upon unboxing. This tensioner actually has much better response and clearance than the OEM. Installed with little difficulty, the only tricky part was putting the spring back in place to tighten the strap. At this point it's pretty clear that this tensioner is stronger. Would definitely buy this again. Good product.
