Skip the famous brands and buy this - you won't be disappointed!

I was nervous at first about buying this bassinet due to the lack of reviews, but the reviews were mostly good and I liked the ability to raise my head a few degrees. for children with reflux (I had this for the first time and was always concerned) without using an unsafe wedge, as well as a retractable side for easy access to the child, I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did! I sold my imagination all the bells and whistles I had with my first one which cost almost twice as much and bought this one. Zero regrets! I hated the halo for several reasons. First, the side that was "easy" to press to get to the baby wasn't easy to press at all. Second, the base was huge and cumbersome. My husband and I have often tripped over it with our toes. It also had a swivel feature to make it easier to get in and out of bed, but that's not the case. You had to position it right next to the bed so the swivel was in a comfortable position to do its job, and even if you swiveled it away from the center post, the cradle hung a little lower to one side or to the side. another if the message was not directly centered. Hated it and probably made the kid feel like he was falling at times. Also, this thing was very heavy and difficult to move, not to mention the base was huge and couldn't fit through a standard door frame. And don't even get me started on all the bells and whistles Halo had that stopped working within a month. Never buy something like this for its electronic properties, you will be disappointed. Needless to say I hate the halo and am glad I got rid of it. I wish I knew what I know now up front and save wasted money! Now the most important thing is why I love this bassinet. It's lightweight and easy to slip on and off if you plan on going anywhere with it. When I took it out of the box and thought hmm it's kinda light I was worried at first that it isn't stable and could easily be knocked over (I have a curious 2.5 year old at home and we everyone knows it only takes a second for an accident to happen). But I decided to get it, tune it and give it a try, if it seems too unstable I can always return it. I was very impressed as soon as I installed it. Not typical at all. My daughter woke up shortly after and fell and the first thing she tried was to climb on this new thing in her house. The cradle didn't move. An issue has been removed from the list. Secondly, I loved how easy it was to move it from room to room, the base just fits through a standard door frame and moves very smoothly (I have hardwood floors and short fiber rugs so can't comment on the rug). ease of movement). Third, this rolling side is amazing! It's so nice to be able to "almost" share a bed with my little one because that's how I feel when I can turn around and see her there. Pops in her mouth quickly, feeds the bottle when she lays down, pulls her baby out to suckle with ease, the list goes on. This little descent is really awesome! The thing is great! And it doesn't have any sharp edges when the side rolls down like another similar bassinet I've looked at that had more views that had problems. In terms of security, you attach the straps to the base of your bed and then they have well-made clips that attach them to the bassinet. The cradle does not move when attached to the bed. I think the main reason I bought this device alongside others on the market was probably the anti-reflux head lift feature. My first child had reflux as an infant and I've tried everything, even buying a small wedge to elevate her head and chest to fight it. As a nurse I feel that these small wedges are NOT SAFE because if they are not positioned directly under the infant to tip on the infant's bottom so that the baby is completely on top of the wedge they can present a choking hazard, if the baby is wrong or slips on the wedge. I was very nervous checking the babies' position when using the wedge as I knew it wasn't the safest but we needed urgent help with her reflux. With this cradle the problem is solved! You don't need to worry about the wedge or its position for a safe night's sleep, and this bassinet only allows you to climb to the safe height specified by the American Walking Academy, 10 degrees I think. This circumstance made me pick out exactly this bassinet and was the decisive factor in my bassinet research why I decided on this bassinet. Don't be fooled by the "unbranded" name, this is a really great bassinet! The only problem I see with others is that it doesn't go very high. This wasn't a problem for us as my bed is on the bottom, but it might be for others. It's best to compare the height measurements to your bed to see what you think of the height. Anyway I like it so much that even with a higher bed I think I'll try to find a way to make it work or let it be a bit lower. As you can imagine, I love this shop! One last thing to mention, the mesh doesn't reach all the way to the cradle mattress, which made me a little concerned if the baby somehow rolls over to him as he gets older, but I did control the breathing a bit myself. and the fabric isn't too heavy and feels quite breathable, so I didn't freak out too much (from a concerned mom, but then again I'll use an owl too, so I have peace of mind too). After getting frustrated with my Halo Deluxe I've spent a lot of time looking for tote bags so I thought I should probably share it with you because I love it so much! I hope this review was helpful!
