This item was purchased in April last year as a birthday present for me from my wife who has the exact same one. It has been working for several years, but this one suddenly stopped working properly 2 days ago. It started playing the SD card at triple normal speed and rebooting the device following the manual reset instructions did nothing. Took over 14 months but was told there was nothing they could do for me and even offered to take it to a local repair shop which was a ridiculous idea considering the unit only costs $32. Anything, if it works, it's a great device. If it stops working, good luck if the seller fixes the problem. Apparently this item is supposed to be replaced every 14 months. There is nothing better than planned obsolescence!
