Has worked very well so far. Last night I plugged it in to charge overnight and found that the device was melted and deformed around the micro USB connector which is now plugged into the device's charging port.

This really is a great little speaker! For the money it exceeded my expectations. Good sound quality (for the price of course), picks up radio stations fairly loud and clear. I love how it scans it for you and also automatically saves stations for you. You don't have to search every channel, it does everything for you. I think the only thing I have to complain about is that it can be difficult to figure out what time it is unless you are used to military time. This only gives the Wartime option

Miles ahead of other shower speakers! Good resolution, especially high frequencies. No muffled, blown high frequencies. Separate volume controls are great. No double purpose, you have to press the volume perfectly or the track will be advanced/played. It always happened to me, so I gave up. Better than expected actually, both FM radio and Bluetooth speakers work well in the shower. Loud enough to hear through running water and the battery only lost a band in 1.5 months of my use (10-15 minutes a day). I used to have a shower radio with pale blue trim and 5 blue buttons on the front (many different brands are available from Revain) so I have a base to compare to this black one. I only use FM mode.
