I bought this sewing machine for my daughter who learned almost everything she knows about sewing from me. And if I'm an experienced seamstress (once I even sewed myself a wedding dress), then my daughter isn't one. She doesn't sew clothes, curtains or accent pillows. But she knows enough to fix her torn clothes, what she wanted from this car in the first place. Sure, it might be overkill for her purposes, but if she ever decides to tackle more advanced sewing than seam repair, this would be the perfect machine. What I like best is the automatic threading.
