On entering you have to admit that it only shows the time in 5 minute increments. So don't plan on using it as a clock to keep up with meeting times, but it looks good and is a great conversation piece. While I agree that it would be much better if they ran on batteries, I think I found a workaround with an ugly black cord hanging from the wall. Since the cable that powers it ends in a USB port, I chose to use a USB rechargeable power bank to power the watch. Then, to hang it on the wall and hide the power supply, I put everything in a photo frame. Normally the power bank lasts about 2 days before it needs to be recharged. (Oh, and if you do this, the power bank needs to be at least 10,000mAh. The 5,000mAh bank I tried only powered the watch for 5 seconds.)
