Review on Wi-Fi adapter ASUS PCE-AC68, red by Chun Chun ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

It's a good device, it works, but the price is too high. Got pros: -works on both *nix and win(7/8/10) - the real speed, to put it mildly, differs from the marketing one, it shows a connection of 1 Gb / s, however, copying to the home file dump occurs at a speed of 70-93 Mb / s (that is, 0.56-1 Gb / s). as long as you don't download anything from the internet and so 40-50 Mb / s (i. E. 320-400 Mb / s) speeds in * nix and Win - turned out to be the same. -Works correctly in all ranges. Its cons: -after the ate in Win 10, the firewood completely flew off, but reinstalling through the device manager fixed the problem. What kind of magic, I don't know. but on the Internet and bourgeois forums there are unrest about this. some of them have already found a solution, some are waiting for firewood from the asus kosher. -*nix - dances with a tambourine are required to work at full power. Namely, installing firewood from the broadcom (Broadcom 4360 chipset). or not installing these firewood, then you can bungle an access point, but the speed will be a maximum of 450 Mbps for everything about everything. In Windows only as an adapter, forget about the access point.
