It saturates in about two weeks (I live in a very humid area) which requires it to sit for 3.5 hours 300 °C in the oven. After the oven had used electricity for a maximum of 3.5 hours, some of the balloons were still green. Factor in the cost, energy, and effort of baking them every few weeks. Plus... I didn't notice any noticeable moisture drop from the presence of the pearls. I wonder if heating the pearls creates harmful chemicals? I wonder if it will cover the coating on my oven? This basically heats the beads, thus removing the moisture and back into the now hot air. And guess what happens when that hot air cools? The moisture is released again. This is a closed loop. So... what looks like a good Udea is actually just an energy guzzler.
