Review on 🦍 Gorilla 101895 Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape, 1-Pack: White, Reliable & Effective Solution by Issac Smart

I used this tape to seal window trim in a sunny room in my house that has too much dry rot. The windows need to be replaced but we don't want to invest in the space because we will tear it down as we add an extension over time. The wood is cracked and weakened in places. I used this tape to seal off any external elements trying to get in and prevent further tearing of the case. I expect bad things will happen behind the tape, but it worked great for my purposes. The tape is strong and smooth, and the white blends into it so you don't notice it too much. I would buy it again for such a "fix" - the only annoying thing is that the sticky side is gray and sometimes sticks out the sides of the tape like glue is squeezing out when you press the two surfaces together. I should have just left it alone, but instead I tried rubbing it off with my fingernail and that seemed to make it worse. It was like trying to remove sticky glue when you peel a label off of something and squeeze the glue into a wad and have to lift that wad with the label, tape or your fingernails. In any case, this is by no means a deal breaker, but when I tried to keep everything white against my white painted wood, the gray stains were more noticeable than I expected.
