The only thing I would strongly recommend is. Do not use the self tapping screws. Instead go to home depot and get nuts and bolts to go all the way inside Of the trailer when installing the post/ upright bars. Save yourself this headache. Other that that it's very sturdy and strong. I do highly recommend this product. I'm glad i didn't went with the other expensive one. I'm adding 4 big ladders on this rack. To take with me on a long haul 4,500 miles. If you want to go with aluminum rack and pay extra I guess that is up to you. But this rack is super sturdy. I hope this will help your decition.
