Review on Gates 363180 Pressure Hose by Lequon Kirkpatrick

I've used belt and hose gates as much as I can all my life, but there's a first for everything. Gates let me down 1200 miles after installing this hose on my C5 Corvette. The hose is leaking at the crimp point on the hose as shown in the photo. There must have been a problem with the tool crimping, or maybe the hose was too brittle. I hope nobody else runs into the same game as me. Let's see if there is a suitable alternative.
