Although the instructions say to wait 3-5 minutes I have found that you have to wait until you see the color change from white to light yellow and then use a heavy Bristol brush to shake it up a bit. . I then used my floor cleaner with water to pick it up. After I was done with the whole room, I rinsed it again with cold water and wiped it down with a mop. I made my whole house with it and will never wax again. My floors are heavy vinyl interwoven with wood. Left a satin finish. Once you start you get into the action and the more I did the faster I was done. We recommend.
