Bought this three years ago for my 2003 Suburban which I use primarily to tow a 7000 lb RV. The commuter rig is allowed to tow a maximum of 7,100 pounds, so runs to the limit. Not sure if the air intake actually helps performance or MPG, but it looks great and gives the engine a nice growl from around 2500 rpm. I think for the money this product is about as good as K&N and other similar CAIs. I also have a Bullydog GT tuner installed and when I use premium fuel and the right tuning for it it definitely draws better than stock. With the exception of the Specter CAI and the Bully Dog tuner, it is fully stock. Also their customer service is good - I recently changed the filter and accidentally overtightened and snapped the MAF adapter ring. I called them this morning to explain and try to order a new MAF adapter ring and they will send me a new one overnight and free! The support agent was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
