Review on 🧊 Versatile Refrigerator Set: Unleash Your Imagination with Strong Multi-Use Characters by Motogp Portillo

Fine. Not as high-quality processed as the previous generation.

A few years ago I accidentally bought a magnet man from a retail store. It was more fun than I expected, a silly office conversation starter and a handy fidget. When my kid started taking it for himself I decided to get some more. The new ones are ok but not as great as the old ones. You can see both of them in the photo below (old=purple, new=pink). Despite being smaller, the older purple man is a bit more flexible. I can easily attach all 4 limbs to the magnetic surface, change their position and they stay. On the contrary, when I try to attach all 4 of the new pink man's limbs to the magnetic surface, at least one and often two limbs detach themselves. The old is opaque; You can't see the magnets in the arms and legs. The new one is transparent so feels a bit utilitarian instead of being so silly and fun. Last but not least, the texture is different. Old shiny and smooth, it's nice to DIY it in your free time. The new one has such a matte finish that it almost feels sticky (despite being clean) and picks up dust like the old one never did. I can barely make out the manufacturer's name on the inside leg of the old one. Purple: NuOp theme. There are no inscriptions on the pink, but judging by the Revain listing, this is the same manufacturer. Too bad the new ones don't match the old ones.

Pros
  • Strong magnets. Great for storing pictures, papers, school notes etc.
Cons
  • Good but not great
