Not for small SUVs
I tried to install it on a Subaru XV Crosstrek from the passenger handrail and went back to the tailgate hinges. It looked normal as there is a ledge above the hold up. The reality was that there were too many slopes when I put my jacket, down jacket and empty backpack in the net. Not the company's fault as I was trying to do something the network wasn't designed for. Maybe I'll tighten the next bungee.
