For $9 you can't go wrong. OE quality seems to have solved my ignition issues on my 2003 Audi A4 1.8t quattro. The immobilizer turned off the engine after starting it several times in a row while the immobilizer light on the dash was flashing. The key was not recognized due to a broken old switch. I used some dielectric grease on the connectors when installing the new one and it works great! EDIT My machine is starting to have the same startup issues again, looks like I'll need to replace these again. Maybe I should have spent $30 on a real OEM one. This URO switch might solve your problems for a few months, but I would worry about the durability.
