Please be VERY careful when purchasing this item.

I first bought this hard drive for my premium PC. My computer was built by an expert (i9 9900K, RTX 2080TI, two 2TB NVMe 970 EVO SSDs, MSI MEG Z390 ACE MB). When I brought the computer home, everything was fine at first. This WD hard drive held several TB of my game clips and I had no complaints. About a week later, I noticed that my hard drive was no longer in the drive list. I solved the problem and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I gave up for a few days and noticed that the hard drive was suddenly back on my drive list. I haven't done anything that I know of causing this. This drive kept turning off and on multiple times until I contacted the specialist who assembled my PC - they told me it was a defective drive and sent it back for replacement. I did so and received the same hard drive as a replacement item. Almost immediately after installing a new hard drive, I again noticed that it wasn't in the list of available drives. It popped up again from time to time. At this point I decided it had to be an issue with my setup or some other faulty component. I have EXTREMELY fixed this problem. It eventually got to the point where I completely uninstalled everything and installed a new motherboard myself. I was very excited to see my hard drive listed in my drives after I plugged everything in and booted up. I thought I fixed the problem, but the next day the drive disappeared again. Components work perfectly. I requested a refund for a faulty drive that was sent to me (twice) and now the company is refusing to help me with my issue. As we have seen, it is very possible that the components sold are old, damaged, reused or defective.
