Works very well for meat that is difficult to shred
I use this meat grinder to shred raw chicken necks to feed my dog. So he has to grind gristle, small bones, meat, fat and skin. Handles everything with no problems. It disassembles quickly for cleaning and stays in place with a suction press with fairly vigorous grinding. The only slight downside compared to the previous metal versions I've used is that the chunks fed into it have to be less than ΒΎ inch to get into the auger, which pushes the chunks forward towards the shredding section.
