Review on 🚀 Upgraded NewYall Idle Air Control IAC Valve IACV for Enhanced Performance by Andy Tunes

Installed on clean throttle body, idle speed increased to 2000rpm and ECU not relearned at idle. Cleaned the old one and reinstalled it, the idle speed jumped to 1500rpm and then the ECU relearned as expected within a few minutes, after which the idle speed dropped to 650 where it should be. I gave the new one a chance to fight and put it back in, the same - 2000 rpm with no change for 3 minutes. Also note that the fork seemed to engage, but the lock did not engage. Maybe it wasn't even a connection. Either way, confirmed rubbish. Put the old one back in and shut up. This item seems to have great reviews, so maybe I got my ass kicked the other day when the quality control guy was asleep. All in all I would try the brand again in the future but as the cleaned old one works fine now I don't feel like waiting for a replacement. For less than $10, not worth going back. Although it was probably one of the few bad apples of the bunch, it still didn't work and irritated me. Hence the 1 star.
