Works well for me even at slightly lower speeds

Worked well for me. Runs at a lower speed than the original. About 800 rpm. I currently have the injector not working properly and it still works without hesitation. I don't mind saving a little fuel by lowering the rpm a few hundred than usual.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Very expensive

Worked on my '98 Jeep Wrangler

Last year I cleaned the IAC on my Jeep which helped lower the idle but it was still a little high and the IAC was very dirty so I decided to trying a new one. . It matched perfectly and lowered the revs even further. So far so good, it's been a few months and about 1500 km.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Minor things

Bought instead of Mopar in fuel injection

terrible. Failed within a month. Came back and bought a genuine IAC Mopar. It was the second cheap IAC to fail in three months. And this one almost put me in a quandary. Do yourself a favor and buy a genuine Mopar part. Yes, it's expensive, but think about it, I've had the original for 19 years. You are doing something right.

Always make sure it comes with a rubber seal

everything looks good should work fine be aware when changing it unhook the battery at both ends and when touching the part , hold both battery cables together for about 60 seconds, and then reconnect to the battery. This will restart the computer on it so that it doesn't read the same as the old one

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • crumpled

Absolutely! Scrap!: Spare parts

Failed the 1st run. I was very lucky that there was a bend inside the manifold for the sensor, otherwise the metal and plastic would have gotten into the engine. On the second start, my engine kept stalling. Here's your problem! Who would put a very thin, brittle, fusible plastic into an area that would heat up enough to melt the ring between the metal head and the sensor body? Shit! that sucks! 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L V8 is way too much for this lousy gauge! Go ahead, waste your time…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Failed out of the box.

Installed on clean throttle body, idle speed increased to 2000rpm and ECU not relearned at idle. Cleaned the old one and reinstalled it, the idle speed jumped to 1500rpm and then the ECU relearned as expected within a few minutes, after which the idle speed dropped to 650 where it should be. I gave the new one a chance to fight and put it back in, the same - 2000 rpm with no change for 3 minutes. Also note that the fork seemed to engage, but the lock did not engage. Maybe it wasn't even a…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
