Review on Surco ER100 Elevated Roof Adapter by Will Carey

I purchased a SURCO Safari roof basket for my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. Great sturdy basket; However, these clips will NOT work on my Santa Fe. After trying to install the brackets securely with the roof rack, it slides everywhere, doesn't hold the basket securely to the top of the car and was a total waste of over $75. I've taken the mounts to the machine shop twice now to have them build mounts that work on my car. This is not the fault of the dealer of this part but SURCO who I called first and who told me what part to order for my car. THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH THE HYUNDAI SANTA FE and I would return the entire car if it didn't pass the 30 day return policy. Very disappointed and now I have to try and sell this used roof basket and buy something that will work with my car. OVER $400.00 TOTAL LOSS. :(
