I bought these as a home training tool for a puppy. The quality of the bells and strap matches the price. I love the sound and the pup seems to enjoy learning how to use them. Very good overall but needs more grip points along the strap to allow the bells to be hung higher off the ground. The current setting only allows two distances from the floor to the doorknob, both impractically small. Big dogs don't need bells hanging so close to the ground. More useful would be ways to shorten the strap and hang a group of three bells from the end of the strap at the top. My big dog likes to sleep under the door in warm weather and ring the bells by lying down next to the door. The pup could still "ring the bell to go outside" even when the bells were halfway between the floor and the doorknob. Other "puppy potty training" providers include instructions with purchase on how best to use it as a training method. The addition of this guide to this purchase will be helpful for those unsure of how to train their dog.
