I wanted a model to showcase the Blacksburg Transit bus system in Blacksburg Virginia near Virginia Tech. It was easy to customize this bus with a few cut-out stickers, sharpie pens and an xacto knife! The result is the video I've attached. I love that the bus has 6 channels: you actually have to press the "start" button on the transmitter for the bus to be drivable. It "fires up" with a diesel-engine like sound, and you can operate the doors (depends on how long you hold the door button, it cycles from open to close) and beep the horn. When it turns, the bus auto-activates both a flashing turn signal and a blinker-sound. The control offers gear changing up and down, but I wasn't really able to see a difference- over about a 30 foot run, the shoulder buttons (for gear change up/down) had little if any affect on the speed or sound. Still a great little bus, with rechargable batteries for the bus itself (AA's for the transmitter last a long time) and very realistic!
