later They're strong, but you'll have to be pretty careless to break them. I've been careless a few times and let the free magnet get too close to the stack (it doesn't even have to be that close). It scared me, but I never felt anything close to punches. Also, they are not that difficult to take apart. Take some time together and defer rather than address an area for improvement - wish they would mark +/- pages. I thought I tripped before I attacked mine, but I managed to flip them a few times and had to rip them off after gluing them (no fun at all).
