Maybe I was lucky with this cable because everyone likes it, but my cable is so delicate when connected to a graphics card! When I touch my desktop, the monitor flickers. When I walk past my desktop (not like a ninja) the shake will make the monitor flicker! This is madness. Wait a minute. Maybe it's a port in my GPU? No not at all. I also tried the cable on my friend's GPU and it behaves the same way. I also have a different display cable (but much shorter) that doesn't cause my screen to flicker. It's not a big problem as long as I don't move and as long as it doesn't escalate it's ok. But if you think this might be a problem, try another one.
