I bought 2 of these both were rubbish

When I first got this displayport it broke right away. I didn't really think about it at the time, I just had a bad cable so I swapped it out for a new one. And I haven't had a second cable for over a month and the 2nd stop stop cable works

was the cheapest 6ft DP cable I could find. Works

I bought the cheapest cable I could find. The forks appear to be well made. Connected noise and earned. Zero artifacts at 1920X1200 60Hz. So who knows about this in 4K 120+ Hz, dunno. But for HD it works fine. Longevity, who knows, worked and worked for several days. Plug and cable quality looked excellent. let's hope it lasts.

It works great but isn't shielded

The cable works great but I just found out that if it's too close to the monitor the lighter will turn off and switch inputs. My other monitor with a different cable was not damaged, but it is a different brand of monitor. The simple solution is to use the lighter within a foot of my monitor, which is probably a good idea anyway.

I'm very disappointed as my laptop is brand new for 2020 and still trying to pair it with a gaming Monitor to use for displayport video output to use gsync and overclock the display as it comes out of the box at 60hz But yes everything i ger is blank and I have both Thunderbolt and USB-C -Port. 2 different ports were used to try to get this cable to work. What a pity. Is there a difference between the Lightning protocol or something I don't know? I'm using a female Lightning DP key.

You get what you pay for. Buy something else.

I upgraded my graphics card to a Radeon 580 and bought this cable to use FreeSync on my 4K monitor. I started getting blue screen of death with graphics card error messages. Other times, my monitor would suddenly show NO INPUT and turn off, forcing me to do a hard reset. I took my computer to Best Buy to have it checked out. It took two weeks to fiddle with the settings and even swap out the graphics card, but the BSoD continued. Eventually I bought a more expensive DP cable. Since then I…

Fixes my video glitches

I bought a very expensive monitor and it had vertical glitches in the video output that made it seem like part of the image was compressed from top to bottom of the monitor. I figured I'd have to throw the monitor away until I took a chance and replaced the manufacturer-supplied displayport cable. On a whim I bought this cable and took it out of the box. The cable appears to be well shielded yet flexible. The connectors are very narrow, so they fit perfectly with the graphics card and monitor…

Very delicate cable

Maybe I was lucky with this cable because everyone likes it, but my cable is so delicate when connected to a graphics card! When I touch my desktop, the monitor flickers. When I walk past my desktop (not like a ninja) the shake will make the monitor flicker! This is madness. Wait a minute. Maybe it's a port in my GPU? No not at all. I also tried the cable on my friend's GPU and it behaves the same way. I also have a different display cable (but much shorter) that doesn't cause my screen to…

Perfect replacement for HDMI

Item arrived just in time! I installed a gaming system in my office and during the installation process I accidentally moved the monitor and kink the original DPI cable. I tried replacing it with a regular HDMI cable but it didn't work properly. After quickly repairing and adjusting the original cable, I found that my computer monitor was turning off due to a kinked cable. I placed an order online and the new DPI cables arrived in the mail the next day (thank god Prime). The cables themselves…

Weird Graphics Card Issues

I used to use an HDMI cable for my GPUs, but now I need a DP cable to enable free syncing. Strangely, with this cable, my computer froze (instant restart) very often in various games (CS:GO, Modern Warfare, etc.) with this new cable. I can't reliably cause this crash, but now I can say that it's most likely the cable because I tried to use 3 GPUs (1 GTX 980 Ti, 2 GTX 1080 Ti) and they all crashed with this cable . not with HDMI or the new Revainbasics DP cable that I bought later. Maybe I got a
