I just got this today so haven't had time to try it yet but I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to use. It's very light and very thin, making it perfect for lounging on your lap and easy to store away when not in use. I have used it as a light box for viewing my film negatives and it works great for that purpose. To use it, it must be connected to the network. To turn off the light, just quickly press the power button and do the same to turn on the light. To increase or decrease the brightness of the light, simply press and hold the power button until the light reaches the desired brightness. The light is very constant and even across the surface of the board and it doesn't cause any glare to my eyes, which is important as I have a certain sensitivity to it, which can be quite annoying in certain types of light. The power cord can be a bit longer, but if you're using it on a desk with an outlet next to it, you shouldn't have any issues. Keep in mind that it only comes with a USB cable, not a power adapter plug, so make sure you have it handy. They're easy to buy and inexpensive if you don't have them on hand. I didn't get a chance to take it anywhere. As mentioned, it's very light so you probably don't want it banging on books or a laptop in your bag. I have mine mostly for home use, so personally I don't think this will be a big deal for me, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. What else? This is a great deal and a good product. So far I'm very happy with it! I recommend it.
