It is a great switching supply, light weight and small layout, how ever we find it hard to read the display, in the pics it looks bright and if we take a pic with camera it looks bright, but to the human eye it is way dim! The reason is that each 7 segment letter is multiplexed and has a fixed scan rate, We removed the display board and there is nothing you can do to increase brightness since the strobe clock is internal to the chip, increasing voltage to display does nothing etc. Too bad cause the big bright blue display was one of the reasons we bought this.
