So I bought this product for my brother. He was recently in an accident and was temporarily confined to a wheelchair. His biggest complaint was that the wheelchair cushion was constantly pressing on his tailbone, causing him a great deal of pain. He spends HOURS a day in this chair and it's really interfering with his recovery. I received this pillow about a week ago and he said the difference is really remarkable. much less pain when going up and down. Will buy one more for me and one for my dad. It turns out that the protruding tailbone is genetically determined.
