Easy to use. about Office Electronics

A friend showed me how to use a scanner because I'm a bad student and technically inept. So easy to use. I have a couple of friends who ask me to use the device after scanning my slides. The seller offered to help me explain the machine if I didn't understand the instructions.

Cons

Works for my needs: Slide and negative scanner

Reviews of all the scanners I looked at complained about the color balance and this one is no better, but some issues were due to the deterioration of the slides and negatives themselves . Some of the photos turned out great, others were so extreme that I changed them to black and white, but for me this is the perfect solution. The image is sharper in black and white, and apart from landscape or flower photos, color doesn't matter to me. This scanner meets my needs and is easy to use once youโ€ฆ

Good but not great - office electronics

It was easy to use, but the picture quality is lame. The slides never looked like the original slides. Some photos have a red cast. If you want to cherish long-lost memories of the negatives, you will be happy with this. For us who wanted more, this is disappointing.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Mediocre

Here's what you should know

Expect disappointment at first. You're pretty much alone trying to figure out how it works. Also, DO NOT connect it to your TV until you try it for the first time while looking at the screen. If the screen turns off, it's because the TV is plugged into the back. (It took me a while to figure this out!) Second, it's in negative mode by default. If you want to create slides you need to go to Menu/Film Type/Slides and select a setting and then click OK. It must be in capture mode to scan. Thenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • IMPROVED IMAGE QUALITY: The slide scanner has an integrated image interpolation that can improve the image quality up to 22 megapixels. Auto exposure and color balance are also included
Cons
  • Big and bulky
