
Reviews of all the scanners I looked at complained about the color balance and this one is no better, but some issues were due to the deterioration of the slides and negatives themselves . Some of the photos turned out great, others were so extreme that I changed them to black and white, but for me this is the perfect solution. The image is sharper in black and white, and apart from landscape or flower photos, color doesn't matter to me. This scanner meets my needs and is easy to use once you get the hang of it. (First I watched the video.) In general, I am satisfied, but do not expect miracles.
