Let me start by saying I've only used one plate so far to see how it holds up. I'm keeping these plates for my upcoming 70th birthday party. (Although I have a dishwasher I will put other dishes etc. in it). This dish is in good condition. I actually ate pasta in it with red sauce and sausage. I've also cut with it and it has held up very well. No draft. No seepage. And I'm a pretty slow eater, so that paid off. I'm pretty sure these dishes will hold up to most whatever you put on them. While it says you can "reuse" I wouldn't do it anyway, in my opinion. Why should I? I wanted disposable tableware for a reason. And only in very rare cases. I always use my own crockery and cutlery. Good that they are compostable. I wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for them. They also have bowls in this area if needed. I only needed plates. I recommend them!
