Review on Philips 272E1CA Frameless Adaptive Sync Replacement Monitor: πŸ–₯️ Full HD, Tilt Adjustment, Built-In Speakers, Curved LED Display by Lamar Lay

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought as a monitor for the new Apple M1 Mac Mini chip and works great.

This monitor was bought for my husband as a Christmas present for his new Mac mini with Apple M1 chip. We had reservations about the purchase because we've always had an iMac with a built-in monitor, and that's not the display Apple sells in its online store for the new Mac mini with the M1 chip (which is very expensive and we couldn't afford ); But when we connected this display to the new M1 Mac Mini chip, it recognized the display right away and it just worked. The picture is sharp and clear. You can customize the color of the display as needed, and adjust display settings from your Mac mini if necessary. However, my husband used it right out of the box with the displays already set up, and since the Mac mini recognized it, the display options were already set up in System Preferences. I can't rate the games because my husband doesn't play games, but he loves the immersive nature of the curved display when streaming Hulu TV. He also loves how large text can appear on the display for reading email, searching and more by enabling the Scaled option for this display in System Preferences on the new Mac mini with the Apple M1 chip used.

Pros
  • β€Ž27
Cons
  • Poor Response Time: If the monitor's response time is too slow, movements may appear blurry or slow.
