Great price, dead pixels aside

After a few months of use, I came to the conclusion that this monitor costs $330. Pros: Only 4K, curved, 32 inches at this price. The rest cost $400 and up. Good colors and clarity even with moderate gaming. box, colors were a bit dull and there was some noticeable motion blur, but with some experimentation with the settings these issues were resolved. The brightness is just enough to withstand the large window behind me when looking at the screen. The aesthetics of the monitor housing are kept simple and in no way distract. The frame is quite thin on the top and sides. Cons: The biggest issue I've had is obviously dead pixels as seen in the photos. Otherwise this monitor would have gotten 5 stars from me, it must have been damaged in packaging or beforehand as there was no visible damage on the box and I didn't even touch the screen when installing, I secured the stand and installed monitor on your desk. the whole time he was still in the foam protector. I did an initial dead pixel test, you can see a group of dead pixels in the photos. I can live with a dead pixel here or there, especially on a 4K monitor, but a pack this size makes it impossible to ignore in everyday use. However, I don't bother to share it since it's very far away, in the top right corner, and I only notice it when I uninstall the app. The only other downside is a warning when you first turn on the monitor that static images for 30 minutes or more can cause burn-in. It was a scary idea considering I've been playing games for a while and don't want the HUD burning into my screen. So far, however, I haven't had any problems after many hours of gaming sessions. I just install a screen saver and turn off the monitor when I leave my computer unattended for a long time. Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with the purchase and would recommend this monitor if you can get your hands on it for around $350 or less.

Pros
  • Peace of mind: Philips monitors come with a 4-year US advance replacement warranty to minimize downtime
Cons
  • Low Brightness: If the monitor's brightness is set too low, the image may appear washed out or too dark.
