I recently bought a new set of drill cabinets and decided to fill them with short/screw length drill bits. Took over 1000 bits and tried these "Drill America" bits. Ordered 3 dozen sizes that cost less than $1. My only order arrived in 3 boxes and 16 envelopes in 5 days delivered by 4 different couriers. I had to create a spreadsheet to match what I received with what I ordered. However, I'm not 100% sure I got everything I paid for as the order was split into 6 charges to my credit card. More than half of the bits were unmarked. Of those named, less than half had a country of origin. Brazil, China, India, USA and Sweden were reported as sources.4 Black oxide was not included in the drill packages. I ordered two packs of the same drill bit size. One package came with black oxide and one uncoated. One of the sizes contained bits that didn't match. All were of different lengths and with different grooves. As someone previously commented, not all 135Β° split point drills are. Less than half was shared on points. Some of the bits even looked like 118Β° points even though I didn't measure them. On the positive side, only 1 pack wasn't counted. The packaging was opened prior to packing, so there is half a piece this size somewhere on a Revain storage shelf or in a trash can. Overall I got what I paid for. Even at prices of only 10 cents per beat, I regret the purchase. Next time I'll bite the bullet and pay for quality beats from my favorite specialty site.
