Went to market to try PETG, even bought powder coated PEI film for it. Spoke to someone on the Sunlu FB group who pointed out this new "PETG". When I spoke to a Sunlu representative, he reassured me that although the label said SPLA, it WAS PETG. So I used the default "Generic PETGโ option in Prusa Slicer and printed some tension test patterns. Adjusted the protrusion a bit (1.8mm) and reduced it a bit, then printed Benchy to video. It turned out very nice even at a layer height of 0.2. Otherwise I printed the first layer at 230, then the rest at 235 and 90 on the build plate. No liability issues. Once cool, it popped out with a little crispy click without removing the sheet or bending it. In short, I would definitely buy this material again, especially if I want a really glossy black finish. Thing is shiny! Later this week I will do some strength testing and update this review on how durable the parts are compared to some of the Sunlu PLA I have here. Print the same piece in both, put it in my desktop vise and apply the same force to them and see them bend and break.
