Great picture on the material but poorly designed screen and poor customer service.

Edit: Downgraded to one star due to poor customer service. First, they say it's natural for the screen to curl and I have to shrink the image a good half inch (which is actually an inch since there are two sides) as the curl is about 4mm, although it is ends up being more like half an inch to an inch since there are two sides. So a 100 inch screen is actually a 99 inch screen. If they used masking like any other screen, the voltage would go through the masking and this wouldn't be a problem. Also, they ignored my issue with the lack of masking shown in the images, as well as lines on the screen that are clearly visible in brighter scenes. And all they had to say was thank you for the feedback. Wow. such bad customer service. I'm sending the screen back. I hope nobody buys my open box. I'm sorry I ever bought it. First of all, the gray ALR screen material gives a great picture on my Epson Pro g7500u. Turn on the lights and put the TV aside and I can't see any blur. It was also easy to install and the case looks nice. That's where the positives end. Product images show the screen has a black trim with a heavy drop at the top. It's not like this. It's essentially a 4:3 screen with no masking except at the bottom edge. In addition, the sides of my screen curl up. So if I want a flat image I need to resize my image so that the sides are flat. Not too happy about that either. The screen itself also has a few lines running from side to side. Seen up close in some of the brighter scenes, but not at the usual distance. Return is discussed.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Useless features
