Review on 🔪 DMT Diamond Machining Technology D8ME: Precision and Durability in Diamond Sharpening Tools by Leo Govindan

Finally sent this stone back for replacement under warranty. I only used this stone a couple of times before getting a deep scratch while sharpening a relatively soft (8crMOV) knife. I also have 8 inch Dia Sharp stones, thin and extra thin, which I've had nothing but positive results with. I have contacted DMT directly to resolve this issue and I have been waiting for a resolution and availability from DMT since early July. Maybe I was just unlucky and the stone I bought was just a lemon. Hopefully the replacement stone will make me edit this review with standard positive DMT praise. Added: Received a replacement stone and after a few sessions am happy with the consistency of this new stone. Many thanks to DMT rep Chris for the great customer service and attention. Addendum: They are so good I just laughed out loud thinking about how I oil natural stones! Fuggit about it!
