Unfortunately I only tried to set this up after the return period had expired. I have an iPad Gen8 which should be compatible with this stylus. I've tried following the instructions but no matter what I try this pen won't sync to my iPad. For now, this "cheaper pencil" has only increased the cost of buying an Apple Pencil. I am very upset and disappointed especially after reading all the positive reviews. Update: THREE times this company emailed me to withdraw this review. I was offered $30 the first time, $40 the second time, $50 the third time! I am so appalled that any company would bribe a customer to remove a negative review once let alone keep increasing amounts weekly. For others it is important to know if this pencil works with their device. If they want to refund my money, great, but I won't give the exact rating to get a refund.
