While some people use them for privacy and they are obviously oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo words etc. the less my eyes get tired and my head hurts! For some, high contrast means brain stress, headaches or eyestrain. Most modern displays are so damn bright you can't get them down to very low levels, it takes a screen like this. I up the brightness and compress, no big deal. Great screen. Just make sure you're looking straight ahead as even then the edges will be a bit darker.
