Review on πŸ”ͺ Versatile Old Hickory Butcher Knife: 7-14 in. Masterpiece for Precision Cuts by Lauren Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You can't beat Old Hickory.

Like other reviewers, my knife was dull like a butter knife, but after a few minutes with a belt grinder and a couple of whetstones it was razor sharp and ready to crack open multiple pork carcasses. My knife came with 2 brass rivets and black walnut handles. By the way, this knife is huge. I'm thinking of buying one to use as a small hiking machete. If you're cutting small animals or large chunks of meat from the grocery store, I would buy a smaller knife, say 8 or 10 inches long. This option is best for cutting beef or pork.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say
