Review on Optimized FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter CA9115 for Scion and Toyota Vehicles by Edward Perez

I ordered a filter because the OEM filter on my Toyota was full of crap. My car has only done 19,000 miles in ten years, but it's very dusty here in Honolulu. I've been using Fram products since the Nascar days. You were always number one in my book. (I was a super stock car mechanic.) But when I removed the OEM filter, it was stuck in the filter housing. When I installed the Fram filter. To my great surprise, it wasn't tight at all. I have checked the part number and it is correct. Now you know these filters are held in the filter box with just two spring clips, so I wasn't too happy with their fit. I finally managed to get it working, but I'm still not happy. Perhaps Fram doesn't pay as much attention to detail as he used to. Maybe it's a factory inspection issue. However, Fram makes an excellent cabin air filter using activated charcoal and baking soda. I bought one for this Toyota and the air in the cabin has become much cleaner. Less dust on everything. If the air filter was a good fit I would give it five stars.
