These navy blue rivets work great, ideal for my kayak and mounting accessories such as carry handles. They are all aluminum and come with a gasket. I strongly recommend not using a gasket as the pressure on them can be so great that they are crooked. Use silicone instead. Be sure to drill a 3/16 size hole so they fit snugly, use silicone. under the rivet head and also around the hole during installation. After installing the rivet, apply some silicone to the rivet hole to make it 100% waterproof. Then wipe off any excess silicone sealant with some rubbing alcohol and a towel. I like the fact that the rivet stems break low on them, making it easier to fill the rivet hole with silicone. Flush breaking doesn't really help the seal and makes it difficult to get clean silicone sealant nice and flush on the rivet hole. It is best to use marine grade triple rivets.
