I was in dire need of 1 inch wheels but couldn't find them. I chose them because they were only slightly larger and had pre-drilled holes which saved me a lot of time. I've written on it with a felt tip pen and even the ultra thin ones bleed. The wood is very thin and porous. You must apply a clear coat on it before writing on it to prevent bleeding. In general they were adequate but not ideal.
