Review on 🔧 Dremel 7700-1 MultiPro 7.2V Cordless Rotary Tool by Chris Bowden

It's light and comfortable to hold, and the charge lasts much longer than my previous Dremel. This ability to cut for extended periods of time without balancing a heavy drill was exactly what I was looking for. I've been using this Dremel for about a week now and wouldn't recommend it to female carvers as the shank lock button should make it easier to change bits. The button only works when pushed all the way up and it has to be pushed with all the force I can muster with my thumb which is quite painful and if you have nails forget it. By squeezing the tip of this button as hard as you can, you also have to fight the collet nut, which rotates independently of the inner collet. It's a lot harder than my old cheap dremel. The second major downside is that if I hit a hard spot in the tree the drill will stop on its own and I have to turn it back on and keep my thumb on the speed controller to keep it going. I'm carving a walnut right now, so nothing out of the ordinary that could cause this.
