I'm not sure what I expected from this gadget (beware of false claims), but this little invention is amazing. I plugged it into my laptop and it worked with three USB sticks, a micro SD card and a standard size SD card - ALL AT THE SAME TIME! I then connected HDMI to my TV and was amazed by the picture on my 70 inch TV. You can even add an external power adapter to keep your laptop battery from draining when multiple hard drives are connected to it. This is a lifesaver for me as my laptop has limited connectivity. Then I tried an adapter (USB male to USB-C female on my desktop and although it was a bit slower (it was on an older USB 2 jack plugged in) anyway did everything the manufacturers said you can't go wrong with this gadget!
