I bought this set because I was tired of burning my hands using the fancy acrylic pot holders I purchased last. I thought by getting rid of my mothers old pot holders I would be getting a more durable and heat resistant pot holder. After burning my hand and fingers multiple times, I threw them in the drawer to be used as trivets to set warm bowls on. I hand acrylic tipped oven mitts that I can't bend enough to pick a pan up and out of the oven. Another waste of money, and went back to good old fashion oven mitts. They at least work!
