It might work for some blenders but not all. The photos in the publication show the base with 6 ribs, but also with 5 ribs. Base. My blender needed a 6 rib version to fit securely in the blender body. What I got was a 5 rib version that didn't offer enough tension on the sides of the body to keep the pitcher stable. In fact, as soon as you took your hand away, the pitcher wanted to fall off while you were sitting on the mixer. It was only stable if you stood and held it by force. Little did I know when I bought it that one photo had the 5 rib version and the other two photos had the 6 rib version. As an experienced Revain user, I usually understand this better. I bought with Prime so the return was easy and I was able to order another device from a different supplier and it was the right version.
