Review on Integrated stereo amplifier YAMAHA A-S301, black by Barbara Sikora ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

On New Year's Eve 2022, one channel on my outdated Pioneer wheezed, prompting the decision to purchase a new one. To do this, you must first read the reviews on the market. Since I usually listen to digital music in the yard in the twenty-first century, I'm seeking for an amplifier with a built-in DAC. I learn from reading reviews that the amplifier fonits, heats up, and stinks horribly so I should go observe and listen. visited the store. I found the vendor; he has a line-up; there is a New Year's sale; there is a line-up; and here I am with my wires, headphones, and CDs, asking you to listen to the amplifier. But, the vendor is accommodating and provides me with a listening space, a Yamaha PKD, and the amplifier I want to use. The amplifier, of course, does not stink or contain phonite, so you may go further, is the first thing I pay attention to. The sound of "The Dark Side Of The Moon" is awful when I play it. Where do I turn? What if the equipment? was written on the wall, and I read it. I choose to purchase when told that I have 30 days to return it. After they hand me a brand-new, sealed box and the payment for the doubt, I leave for home. I attach everything at home after bringing everything up to room temperature and begin conjuring while looking for the best settings. I gradually begin to develop feelings for a new toy. I finally get the intended sound the engineers were going for after some time. The urge to part with the amplifier fully vanishes. As a conclusion, I want to stress that you won't have anything to warm up and stink about if you use sensible, reliable connections and cables and don't like the system that the "Disco Crash" group referred to as "neighbors-hang yourself-bastards." Wishing you all success and happy shopping and impressions!

Pros
  • The fact that this amplifier has a built-in DAC on board is the key factor in the decision. Several issues, such connecting wires and a separate digital converter unit, instantly vanish. All you need to do is connect the A-S301 to your signal source (car, PCD, or computer) with a single Toslink optical connection. I examined it with the volume control at its highest and found that there is virtually no background noise or noise coming from the headphones or other acoustic systems.
